Climate reporting
Monitoring is necessary to measure the progress of Gall & Gall Scope 3 ambition to achieve a 45% reduction in emissions by 2030. That is why Gall & Gall expect all suppliers to report their Scope 1-2-3 emissions to Gall & Gall on an annual basis. To this end, Gall & Gall work with two reporting routes, of which only one per organisation applies. The deadline for both routes is September 18, 2024.
- Option 1: ImpactBuying Reporting Route:
- Route 1 applies to Albert Heijn and Gall & Gall suppliers who will report for the first time in 2023 and to suppliers who have already reported for the year 2022 via ImpactBuying. We invite you by e-mail to start the report. The latest reporting date is September 18, 2024.
- Option 2: CDP Reporting Route:
- Route 2 applies to Albert Heijn and Gall & Gall suppliers who have already reported via CDP for the year 2022. Specifically, we ask you to link your CDP reporting in the CDP supply chain module to the CDP account of Ahold Delhaize. The latest reporting date is September 18, 2024.
Reporting via ImpactBuying
About ImpactBuying
ImpactBuying helps companies make the supply chain transparent through technology and data verification.
Which questions and data are requested via ImpactBuying?
The climate report is divided into nine topics and discusses, among other things, climate objectives, emission data, calculation methods and data quality. See the Documents section for the full questionnaire and a user guide to complete the questionnaire.
Step
The online climate reporting tool is developed and hosted by ImpactBuying. You will be invited by ImpactBuying to create an account on their platform and report there. If you have not received an invitation by the end of June 2024, please contact ImpactBuying directly via services@impactbuying.com.
Questions?
If you have any practical questions about the platform, please contact ImpactBuying directly by emailing services@impactbuying.com. If you have questions that cannot be answered by the Climate Hub, please contact Albert Heijn and Gall & Gall by emailing sustainablesupplier@gall.nl.
Reporting via CDP
About CDP
CDP is a non-profit organization that enables global environmental transparency and benchmarking for investors, businesses, and governments. The CDP benchmark works concretely with questionnaires on the themes of climate change, water and forests.
What questions and data are requested via CDP?
Gall & Gall (through parent company Ahold Delhaize) expect its suppliers to complete the "Climate Change Questionnaire" annually. This questionnaire, including the "Supply Chain module", is necessary to link the emissions of our suppliers to the total footprint of Ahold Delhaize's value chain. When reporting, make sure that you, as a supplier, link your account to your customers, in this case specifically to Ahold Delhaize (not Gall & Gall, because Ahold Delhaize as a group reports via CDP).
Step
CDP will invite our suppliers by email in June. When you sign up and log in, you as a supplier will see all customers who request a CDP climate report, including Ahold Delhaize. If you have not received an invitation by the end of June, please contact CDP directly through the CDP Help Center.
If you are a new user of CDP, please follow the instructions here. If you are unable to log in to CDP, please contact CDP via "My Support" in the CDP Help Center. CDP and Ahold Delhaize also hosted a webinar on the CDP reporting process. You can view the recording here.
Questions?
If you have any practical questions about the platform, please contact CDP directly via the CDP Help Center. If you have substantive questions that cannot be answered by the Climate Hub, please contact Albert Heijn and Gall & Gall by emailing sustainablesupplier@gall.nl.
