For organizational footprinting, we strongly recommend the GHG Protocol. For product footprinting, we recommend complying with Product Environmental Footprint Category Rules (EC), ISO14067 and/or the LCA standards (ISO 14040/44).

There are plenty of datasets available, but not all of them can be accessed for free. We recommend that you contact your respective trade association to make more specific emission factors available. The following databases are useful:

We ask suppliers only to report once. In case you have received two invitations, you are free to choose which platform you want to use.

No, we ask companies to report on a corporate level and include all the subsidiaries in this report.

Yes, we expect you to report on all Ahold Delhaize subsidiaries, but in one report. There is no need to produce a separate report for all these brands. The different brands will retrieve the information from one and the same questionnaire.

Reporting must be done at the company level. 

The reporting and commitment expectation applies to both suppliers of food and non-food products. In other words, we also ask you to report on your emissions and commit to SBTi.
